THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS I GET ABOUT MY SKIN CARE REGIMEN – WHY DO YOU “NEED” TO EXFOLIATE. YES, WE NEED IT.

EXFOLIATION IS SORT OF LIKE A MAGIC TRICK, WELL, IF YOU KEEP IT UP. BY NOW, I FEEL LIKE MOST OF US KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF EXFOLIATION, BUT THERE ARE STILL SO MANY QUESTIONS – WHICH INGREDIENTS, SALT OR SUGAR, WHAT ABOUT FOR MY SKIN TYPE?!.. TOO MANY CHOICES!


I UNDERSTAND, IT’S DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHAT THE BEST OPTIONS ARE WHEN THERE ARE A HUNDRED OPTIONS AND COMPANIES SCREAMING – THIS IS THE MIRACLE CURE!!

... BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THERE IS RARELY A MIRACLE CURE. POINT BLANK. THERE ARE GREAT PRODUCTS, ONES THAT WORK MORE THAN OTHERS – BUT USUALLY IF YOU ARE CHOOSING A NATURAL PRODUCT OVER AN ARTIFICIAL SCRUB, YOU’RE ALREADY AHEAD.

BOTH DRY SCRUBS AND OIL SCRUBS ARE IMPORTANT FOR THE SKIN. AS SOMEONE WITH CONSISTENTLY DRY SKIN, I PREFER OIL-BASED SCRUBS – BUT I STILL USE BOTH. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE USE BOTH TYPES – HERE ARE SOME TIPS.

·      SUMMER TIME – BEFORE GOING OUT, TO KEEP SHINY SMOOTH SKIN, USE AN OIL BASED SCRUB.

·      FOR AN AT-HOME SPA NIGHT, GO FOR SKIN-RENEWAL AND BALANCING BY STANDING IN THE TUB AS IT FILLS AND SCRUBBING YOUR BODY WITH A DRY SCRUB, THEN SITTING IN THE BATH AND LETTING IT SOAK INTO YOUR SKIN. 

 

 

I TYPICALLY USE A SCRUB TWICE A WEEK, IN THE SUMMER + WINTER - I JUST LOVE THE FEEL OF SOFT + SMOOTH SKIN, IT'S AN ADDICTION!
